Nordstrom Rack - Unacceptable shipping delay due to employee error
I placed an online order on Nordstrom Rack. My package did not arrive by the estimated shipping date provided in my confirmation email.
I have been monitoring the shipping status on the UPS website, and I noticed that it was forever stuck on "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated." I contacted customer service 2x about my problem. During the first time, the rep told me to just wait a few more days. So, I waited and then contacted customer service again.
The second rep informed me that the packaging label had "fallen off" my package and asked me to wait another 3 days for an update. I am so disappointed that it has taken this long for Nordstrom Rack to catch this error and that it will take another 3 days to rectify it. I requested the rep to expedite the shipping speed to account for this unacceptable error, but she denied my request. I will not be ordering from Nordstrom Rack or Haute Look again.
The website FAQ states that items will be shipped out after 1-3 days. Given the sheer number of complaints against Nordstrom Rack, the "1-3 days" estimate is very dishonest and misleading. I have been already charged for my order on my CC so essentially I have given Nordstrom Rack an advance payment on something I may not even receive in the mail!
I may have to contact my bank and request a chargeback at the end of this month if the packaging label "falls off" again. Ordering from Nordstrom Rack is definitely not worth the hassle.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
